When the Facebook Data Centers approached us to create a series of safety videos, we were excited. While we had experience producing videos, this project presented a new challenge. Once the instructional design team had completed their work—segmenting the content into different videos—our design team got to work.
We developed a shot list, mapping each scene to the content and voiceover for the 10 planned videos. At the time, a former design team member was working with a drone company and held a drone pilot’s license. We brought him on board to assist with aerial footage, leveraging his expertise. Since the drone required two operators—one to fly and another to control the camera—we ensured the right coordination to capture high-quality shots.

Here are the titles of the ten videos we completed:
Introduction
General Safety
Chemical Hazards
Fall Prevention
Electrical Safety
Lockout/Tagout
Confined Space
Hot Works
Hearing Protection
Environmental

Shown below are sample images from the videos that capture the overall look and feel. Each video was voice-over driven, complemented by light background music and on-screen text accents to emphasize key content.
